BrandArmy's mission is to bring creators and their most supportive fandom closer than ever before in a safe, healthy, and fun environment. We love creators and believe they are the new rockstars of the world. Our goal is to support their creative efforts as they move into and adopt direct fan-monetization via their BrandArmy channel. We are building an international platform for all creator types where they can be their most authentic selves to engage and share content with their most loyal fans and supporters. We believe our platform is the best fan-monetization and engagement platform in the world for creators to grow and manage a profitable business with their supportive superfan community.

Fan-monetization is still very early and new to most creators and fans, so many rules and frameworks are being created for the first time. As operators of a fan-monetization platform we don't pretend to have all the answers, but want to be as supportive as possible in providing a safe environment to foster this new elevated relationship and connection between creators and fans. These Community Guidelines provide clear rules of engagement for all parties on the BrandArmy platform, and generally accepted conduct and practices to provide a safe and inclusive space for superfans and the creators they love and support.

Our Community Guidelines apply to all users on BrandArmy. Guidelines are enforced using tech and staff moderation, and ideally we look to preempt future reported content. We also encourage our community members to use the Contact Us area to report any content or account they believe violates our Community Guidelines.

We will remove any content - including audio, video, images, livestream, comments, links, PDFs, or other text or media - that violates our Community Guidelines. Individuals are notified of our decisions and can appeal them if they believe no violation has occurred. We will temporarily or permanently ban accounts and/or users that are involved in severe or repeated on-platform violations; we may also consider actions on other platforms and offline behavior in these decisions. Circumstances that involve any instance of a threat of real-world harm to human life that is specific, credible, and imminent may be reported to law enforcement authorities. The full BrandArmy experience is for people 13 (All channels for creators aged 13yrs to 17yrs old are parent managed) and older, and we actively remove accounts of people we suspect are under this age.

At the same time, we recognize that some content that would normally be removed per our Community Guidelines may be in the public interest. Therefore, we may allow exceptions under certain limited circumstances, such as educational, documentary, scientific, comedic, artistic, or satirical content, content in fictional or professional settings, counterspeech, or content that otherwise enables individual expression on topics of social importance. We do update our Community Guidelines periodically to adjust according to new behaviors, social norms, and risks, as part of our commitment to all platform users to keep BrandArmy a safe place for creativity and community.

We are committed to protecting the safety of minors on our platform. BrandArmy defines a minor as any person under the age of 18. Activities that perpetuate the abuse, harm, endangerment, or exploitation of minors on BrandArmy are strictly prohibited. When brought to our attention or detected, we will remove any content, including animation or digitally created or manipulated media, that depicts abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors that is a violation on our platform.

To use and experience BrandArmy, our users must meet the minimum age requirements as stated in our Terms of Service. We will remove all underage accounts identified. Given our platform is designed with the safety of minors in mind, we will not accept any creators under 18 without parental permission, consent, and parental channel management. We will also meet with a parent of the under-18 creator before they can start posting and transacting via their BrandArmy channel. If we find out a creator presented us a non-parent as their parent, we will remove that creator's BrandArmy channel. If we find out a creator or parent misrepresented the creator's age that will likely mean the closing of the creator's channel.

To be clear, we will take action on content or channels that involve CSAM or sexual exploitation of a minor. Sexual exploitation of minors can include abuse of a position of power or trust for sexual purposes, including profiting financially, socially, sexually, or politically from the exploitation of a minor. CSAM is defined as any visual depiction of sexually explicit nudity or conduct of a minor, whether captured by predatory adults, peers, or self-generated by minors.

Grooming behaviors are those where an adult builds an emotional relationship with a minor to gain the minor's trust for future or ongoing sexual contact, sexual abuse, trafficking, or other exploitation. It goes without saying that parents running and managing a channel for their under-18 child should never share personal identifiable information with any subscribers for any reason.

We do not allow users who have been convicted of crimes against children to have an account on our platform. These crimes may include: sexual assault, murder, molestation, physical abuse or neglect, abduction, trafficking, international parental kidnapping, exploitation of minors for prostitution, live online sexual abuse of a minor, sexual exploitation of minors in the context of travel and tourism, attempts to distribute or obtain CSAM, and the possession, production, or distribution of CSAM. If we discover any such users, we ban the account with no exceptions. Any self-disclosed user information that states the account holder is a pedophile or minor sex offender will be taken at face value and the account will be deleted and removed immediately.

The health and well-being of all users who are part of our community is something we care deeply about. Content promoting, depicting, glorifying, or normalizing activities that could lead to self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating is also not allowed. We do however support members of our community sharing personal experiences with these issues in a healthy and safe way to increase or raise awareness and find community support. We encourage individuals struggling with thoughts of suicide or self-harm, or who know someone is seriously considering suicide, to immediately contact local emergency services or a suicide prevention hotline. In the event that our intervention could help a user who may be at risk of harming themselves, BrandArmy may alert local emergency services.

We will remove content depicting suicide, involving suicidal ideation, or that might encourage suicidal or self-injurious behavior of any kind. We also remove content depicting attempted suicide or behavior likely to lead to self-inflicted death. To effectively protect our community, we may consider off-platform behavior to identify violent extremist organizations and individuals on our platform. If we find such organizations or individuals, we will ban their accounts.

Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights is prohibited on our platform and will be removed if we become aware of it. Promoting competing fan-pay platforms through a BrandArmy channel, which includes endorsing other creators on such platforms, violates our Terms of Service (TOS) and constitutes grounds for the immediate removal of all channels involved.

All transactions, including but not limited to payments, exchanges, and agreements must be conducted solely through the BrandArmy platform. Engaging in off-platform transactions between users is a direct violation of our Terms of Service (TOS) and may result in the immediate removal of all involved channels.

BrandArmy has zero tolerance for any harassment of any creator. Zero tolerance as well for harassment of any subscriber or user of the BrandArmy platform. We expect a healthy, fun, and safe environment for all users, both creators and subscribers, so any harassment is grounds for immediate account or channel removal of any user or creator.
